Why Cannabis?

First of all, I want to thank you for taking the time to have a look! Second, let me tell you a bit about myself and WHY CANNABIS!

In short, I grew up in a home where alcohol was widely used.  It was normal for me to see it virtually every day.   Eventually, I grew up and began experiencing life myself. Alcohol began to take over my life.  It was a wonderful tool to help me forget about some of the nasties that life has to offer.  Unfortunately, it also fogged my decision-making, and I began making questionable choices that were affecting my family. Needless to say, I needed to change, and Cannabis significantly helped my journey.  I sought out assistance from a physician and began using cannabis medically. It continues to be a very important tool that I use to keep my mental health in check, and in fact, allows it to thrive! I see a doctor annually (or as needed) to make sure my mental health remains in check and to monitor the effectiveness of cannabis for me.

If you chose to use cannabis for medical reasons, please seek the help of a physician. I can point you in the right direction and help with all of the confusing paperwork.

My story does not mean that it is your story; you must seek the help of a doctor if wanting to use cannabis to treat a condition.

I am happy to chat about everything that this plant has offered to me, just send me an email, and we can book some time to chat!

During my journey, due to the extreme expense of store-baught cannabis, I began growing this amazing plant myself, at home.  I learned to specialize in small-space indoor cultivation to maximize yields while being rather small on space.  I then began growing outdoors as well. Both styles of growth offer a wide range of benefits and a wide range of challenges... Growing your own cannabis is much more affordable, and in turn, is a way that those less fortunate and struggling financially can do so if they chose (making access more equitable).

I do need to let everyone know as well, there are risks related to this plant, and while science is so far clearly showing that Cannabis has lower risks than other drugs, like alcohol and nicotine, there are still risks.  Part of the services I offer use harm reduction techniques to ensure you know the risks and understand how you can mitigate those risks. Again, The Bud's Tender does not encourage people to start using cannabis, but for those that have made the decision to start, or currently use it, we are available to help you Grow-Safe!

I am so lucky to be able to work with you to make sure that you have all the knowledge to fully understand these risks, evidence related to potential benefits, and the science of this plant, along with all of the knowledge and tools needed to successfully grow cannabis at home.  I can also provide you with some services that can help you process all of the fine cannabis that you can grow legally!
